I began playing viola at age 10 and went on to study at Indiana University and Northwestern University. I've performed with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, served as Principal Viola of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and toured internationally as part of an award-winning string quartet, including a performance at the Beethoven Haus in Bonn, Germany.
I’ve been a member of the Aspen Contemporary Ensemble, the Center for Advanced Quartet Studies, and Northwestern’s Contemporary Music Ensemble, and have also taught violin and viola.
Performing in countless venues and settings has shaped my instinct for space, emotion, and audience, which continues to inform how I approach storytelling and live events today.
